Design Technician

CST Studio is a full service texturing facility. Our expertise is applying textured surface finishes via chemical or laser engraving to mold surfaces. Our highly skilled team pride ourselves in both state of the art design and technical aspects of texturing. CST also provides emergency grain repairs and trusted grain consultation / support pre and post grain. We focus on making texture simplified.

We are looking for a design technician to digitally create and correct texture patterns for application to steel surfaces for the tool and mold industry. Will be trained to digitally print and inspect designs for production application, as well as to prepare and use the vinyl plotter to provide templates for layout applications. Also will be trained to support in preparing presentations, using CAD software for production review and 2D/3D rendering for visual texture / pattern design approvals for both chemical and laser applications.

Precision Instrument & Related Equipment Foreman

CST Studio, located in Windsor, Ontario, is looking for a full-time and permanent Precision Instrument and Related Equipment Foreman (NOC 9227).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers who assemble, fabricate and inspect products;

Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments;

Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality;

Requisition materials and supplies;

Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies;

Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions;

Prepare production and other reports;

May set up machines and equipment;

Masking molds including fine masking, reading mapped parts and line up sheets; and

Applying prints that include single wax, geometric, registration, micro matte, and spotting/touchup prints and applying spray dots.

Applicant must have at least five (5) plus years of working in a texturing facility. The successful candidate must have completed secondary school. Applicant must speak, read and write in English. Successful candidate will be remunerated $30.00 per hour (40 hours per week).
